Featured Sterling Silver Rolling Blotter

So this arrived in the mail last week:



...and ^^this^^ is after a week of using it.

The roller is a simple lathe-turned wooden cylinder with holes in it for the prongs, and the handle is marked as STERLING. I keep it on my desk for quick blotting-jobs while writing.

To get the blotting paper around it, I sticky-taped one end on, rolled it around, and then glued the other end of the paper down with some glue-stick glue (strong, but not strong enough that I can't remove it later).

Better on the blotter than my pinkie! We southpaws are forever getting ink on our hands when we write - finger drags through the ink.

I'd only ever heard of them. Then one day I saw a whole heap for sale, so I picked and chose and ended up buying that one. I think it's really neat.

I'm not sure. I did see a photograph of one, which came with a matching silver under-tray to stop the roller from rolling off the desk or whatever, but that was about it.
