This is driving me nuts. I recognize this mark and have identified it before but I’m drawing a complete blank. A quick search of world hallmarks turns up nothing.

The chunky sterling ring has a typical look of a Mexican piece, but it’s not a Mexico mark

The mark on the right, specifically

    many ideas? Thanks

It's a soldered seam from sizing.

The “bird?” mark is what I’m trying to identify. I can make out the “925” across the top of the mark, but can’t determine what the “bird” is, enough to identify it

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Might it include a feathered headdress? Are you sure that is 925 across the top of the mark? If the mark is turned the opposite way it kind of looks like a peacock.

    Just some ideas...

it does look like it could be some type of headdress, nice observation

Yes, it’s definitely 925. Through my loupe, it’s clear…. Not so much when trying to photograph
