Very quirky, a silver snake bangle with a glass human or doll's eye.
It is marked with the post-1953 Dutch sword mark for sterling, but I would like to know the other mark. It looks like G1E, with a + below the 1.
Probably a maker's mark. It is not in my lists of Dutch makers.
I don't know if it is a Dutch maker, import pieces are sometimes marked with the sword mark instead of the import mark.
Does anyone recognize the mark or the style?

Thanks for looking. And my apologies if the glass-eyed snake startled you.:)

I've always thought cyclopses (is that the correct plural?) a bit scary, but I liked this one. Maybe a form of therapy?;):cyclops:
Thanks for looking for the mark.:)

    Hi,
Back in the 1970s I knew a woman who bought a huge box of eye replacements. She made all kinds of pins and jewelry out of them. I swear that snake was one of hers. I think she was Dutch or Flemish. Her first name was Glorianna. I do not remember what she used as a back mark. God where has the time gone.

Thanks Greg, the G could be for Glorianna. Dutch or Flemish sounds good to, with the Dutch mark.
