Featured Sterling flatware

    Have a good night, i'm unboxing more of my scrap silver collection, are this flatware international silver co., Josephine pattern, 1907? I can't find more info.     I'm not sure what other information you are looking for Moeller, but in case you are looking to properly identify piece names, here's a link to the Replacement list of pieces in the Abbottsford pattern.

    Simpson, Hall & Miller was one of the firms that became part of International Silver in 1898 (which is where the S on the knight's shield came from) International did continue use of the Simpson, Hall and Miller marks and name for a while following. The knight/S mark was the SHM mark prior to the creation of International. See here: http://www.sterlingflatwarefashions.com/Silversmiths/SSS7.html

    I am unaware of any International Silver or SHM sterling flatware pattern named Josephine.

    They are clearly mistaken. Makes me wonder how valid the rest of the information on that site is. :rolleyes:
