    hi folks

something else i bought in the same shop yesterday for a tenner

think the wood is blackthorn ?

the hallmark is chester, cant find a CW or which date letter the K is, a few look quite similar, guessing its the 1893

it had a broken light piece of wood in the connecting part, that im still working on getting out

i have an ebony stick part that might work with it, but not sure it would be a fitting marriage, i think its african

would be an easy pairing with a bit of wood filler

    any thoughts or info appreciated

Beautiful, charlie, and Chester silver is good.
It doesn't. Maybe a plain black stick?
I have a Filippino walking stick that has a similar twist and inlay, so maybe yours is also Filippino.

thanks Aj, yeah i think your right, its mixing 2 different styles

the guy i bought it from said it was a parasol handle, but that didnt seem to ring true, unless from a gents umbrella

It could be a parasol handle. Let's ask @kyratango what she thinks.
But it is yours now, so you can use it as a cane handle.:)
