Yeah, I have no clue on this piece.

Anyone have any info? Most times I don’t know how else to Google the obvious and get positive results.

With what look to be a lamp of learning, open book, and owl all represented, I believe it may be an academic award of some sort. I'm not used to seeing the cornucopia associated with academics, so if it IS academic, I don't know the reason it's there.

I wonder if a ribbon was attached via the two holes at the bottom?

May not have been a ribbon (at least not one made of fabric.) I have a number of multi-piece pins that belonged to grandparents and great grandparents that have metal "ribbons" hanging down from the main pin - in series, as additional achievements were acknowledged.
