Stamped Brass Heraldic Thingy - Firemark?

    This is about 10 inches across, stamped out of thin brass. Fire mark or what? any ideas welcome.

    Going to be difficult to determine exactly what that particular copy was on but you can certainly decipher the COA. People in that field at the U.S. Library of Congress recommend translating the images into heraldic text descriptions then searching Google as a shortcut that often works.

    Hi,
    I was under the impression that it was usually a sign of two families crests when there was an important marriage.
