I’ve got that ram/swag lamp towards the end but in different shades of gold/goldish.

 

Oh what a dream! Just give me a full day alone in this house please. I would have to bring my big check book. You could start a good sized antique business with just what's in this house alone!

 

Yes! The owner loved cats, never had any children and was a very successful model for the department store Rich's back in the 50's. She paid $24k for a Meyer Gunther Martini Louis XVI style settee in the 70's along with a matching bergere. Then there is the Drexel (before Heritage) furniture! Such a fun house!

 

I checked the real estate sites and noticed that the house sold recently for about $325,00 or so, maybe 350,000. Do you know why it sold for so much less that the estimate? Is it because it hasn't been updated in so long? I was getting a little confused looking at the sale photos. There were maybe 4-5 good sized dining tables and it looked like more than 1 living room.

 

Curious about what they want for the Polaroid SX-70 camera. (I've got one - and apparently you can still get film)
