Coming back to my favourite subject - Soviet propaganda porcelain. I cannot find this specific dish nowhere in the internet. So, I assume it only exists in a single copy. The dish was made at Budy faience factory (1867-2006) in 1950. There is artist's signature and the factory mark on the back side. Artist V. Kompanichenko. It is large and heavy. D 34 cm.
My hunch is that it was disigned as a present from the factory to the first persons of the state but was never presented because of some reasons.
Anyway, it is a unique piece. I might consider selling it.

I am sure there will be a lot of interest for this plate. The subject is collectible and it is very well painted, in nice colours.
Am I right in thinking V. Kompanichenko painted the Lenin and Stalin part, and the flower rim was done by someone else?

    AnyJewelry, thanks.
I am not sure, but I think the same artist painted both as there is only one name on the back.
