southwest pottery signed

    I'm thinking studio pottery for this one, rather than native-made.

    American raku, also called post firing reduction, studio pottery.

    A close up of the knob on the lid may help identify the potter. I can't see what it looks like, with that background of the stove stove dials.

    By the way it is signed, and the size, it appears to be the work of someone who has made a lot of pots, so someone may recognize the potter's style.

    Thanks for the close up. Certainly has more of a Japanese or Asian influence, rather than Native American. Not unusual for U.S. studio pottery from the 1970s-1990s. Good enough signature, maybe someone will recognize this one...but odds are a little slim of that happening with most studio pottery.
