Featured Southwest pottery figure

    I picked up this southwest pottery figure that hangs on a wall at a local antique mall. The Tag on it said southwest soo I am not sure if that's accurate or not. It has a incised symbol on the back and was wondering if anyone might know who the artist is? Or if it's a signature of some sort? Thank you for any info!

    The little figure, if that's what it is, climbing up (to deliver another nail?) reminds me of the little koshari figures you see on storyteller figures like this one by Margaret Gutierrez, Santa Clara Pueblo:

    Incised mark no doubt identifies the maker, but...
