I was lucky enough to find this last weekend at a yard sale. Kids were selling off their parents treasures so they could not tell me anything about it other than they travelled alot. I've never seen one and loved it once I picked it up. I paid $5 Is it a toy? noise maker. Its loud and sounds similar to pouring rain. Made of wood. Measures 9 3/4" tall triangular shape Any information would be welcomed
I believe it may be a "rain stick" I have never seen a triangular one. But google it and you'll see the effect is the same. Some cultures use them as percussion instruments.
