Some type of scissors marked R. Sorby help identify?

    I associate that type of bypass action (one blade, passing by the lower hook) with a garden pruner. Tin ships usually have 2 opposing blades, like scissors. But the rounded tip is interesting.

    They specialized in woodworking and agricultural tools, so a pruner would make sense.
