Some painted terracotta Mughal ruler heads for your perusal.

    These were listed as 19th century and I’m inclined to believe it as they do seem to
    have a degree of wear and tear. It seems someone at a later date has drilled them to fit mounting pegs for display with labels on the rear. They did a sloppy job. Are these some kind of Indian/Persian “Grand Tour” things or are they more modern?? Anyone seen anything like these and can fill me in?

    Very nice collection, well made.
    They look second half of the 20th century to me. In the 1950s they began to take the shoepolish out to 'antique' items, and they have been using it ever since.;) These look like they could be 1950s.
