Some help needed with this painting and japanese writing on the same

    Hello everyone,

    I would appreciate if anyone can help me with the following;

    - Theme of the painting(cherry or plum blossom)
    - Text( what it says)
    - Stamps
    - Style and age

    Painting part is 44.5 x 68cm

    Good to see you again, Makanudo! Only one thing I can help with - your images of the text and the red stamps are upside down. You should probably also edit the title to request translation of Japanese.

    Sorry for the upside down bit. I took photos the way it was hanged on the wall.

    Are you sure it is Japanese, rather than Chinese? It looks similar to this contemporary Chinese painting of birds and plum blossoms:

    They explain that "Plum Blossom is well known as its purity, strength and modesty. It is one of the famous Chinese traditional flowers. Plum blossom has five blessings, including happiness, luckiness, longevity, success and peace, for this meaning comes from that plum blossom has five petals and its other name in Chinese tradition is the five blessing flower."
