Solid Brass Hangers or Pulls That Don’t “Drop” Down?!?!

    Hi, and thank you for your kind input. These are solid brass and I have 16 of them. Each one has a wreath-type 1 1/4” “pull” or “hanger" at the end of a 2 1/4” threaded rod that has a washer and a threaded insert that is slotted to screw in. Each one has a separate 3 1/2” rod, for longer applications I suppose, but I can’t puzzle as to what they’re for. The “pull” or “hanger” does not “drop”. Any clues? Maybe to hang a tapestry or such?
