    I'd say fairly recent and probably a hare. Pretty ugly hare, but an auspicious animal in Chinese mythology.

    The rabbit in Chinese mythology is supposed to be creative and artistic, among other things.

    I'm a rabbit. I'm highly artistic, so it must be true.

    Mt first reaction.... Mexican and it looks like Alice's rabbit/hare without the hat and as much as I like bunnies..... NOT this one. :facepalm:
