    Hey everyone,
I am doing a research project for material culture class and I have this vase I am working with. I was given very little to go off of and it is my task to identify the object and its history. Any information regarding its origins and intended purpose/ usage would be greatly appreciated.
I have attached a few images.

Czech/Bohemian - Nailing down a maker could prove to be tough. Sometimes a vase is just a vase

If you do a google search on Welz Spatter Glass, it will show you a lot of similar vases with decoration like yours, I don't think your's is Welz, as they usually had the spatter covering the whole piece. But I do agree that it is probably Czech/Bohemian in origin

I don't know if we should be giving away our precious Earth secrets to blue people from other planets.

A few innocent questions, it's just a start.

"Material Culture Class"? What would that be, what would you learn and why? Sounds interesting.

I googled the term "Material Culture Class" and I think I understand what you're studying. Do you have to write a report?
