Snuff Bottles

I only have 3 of these, I kind of think I’d be much better off collecting a narrower range of things but I never really set out to collect anything. Silver dollars maybe when they were in circulation, my dad would cash his paycheck for silver dollars we’d go through them then roll up the non keepers and takes them back to the bank.

we had a complete set of peace dollars, and Morgan’s were missing a few, I was in third grade and spotted an 1893-s silver dollar in the lunch ladies tray, I tried to skip lunch and buy it with the honesty of a 8 year old… she wouldn’t let me have it. We went to the bank and tried to get the deposit from the previous day but the coin was gone, I learned a valuable lesson that day… but I digress sorry.

back to snuff bottles the two cobalt blue inside inside painted came from grandpa , the Satsuma (not Imari) from a Stanford museum sale, I know little else about them.

And on the subject of antiques, I tried to make a small donation to the server project but on Amazon it was just tools and no place that I could see to donate cash? I’m sure someone knows what I’m doing wrong.
