Small white glazed ceramic vase - hard to read mark.

    Hello all - can anyone make out the mark or perhaps recognize the pattern? It's 6" tall, and glazed inside as well.

    Lovely vase although the heavy glaze obscures not only the mark but the detail on the wings. Looks to me that at least one line is a string of numbers. I would guess 1930's - 1940's American. Did you try anything like tracing paper?

    I'll break out the tracing paper tonight - I agree it looks American to me.

    I discovered that almost all the dealers at the antique show on Saturday were selling plain, white ironstone or ceramics. Colors are out this year.
