Small South American Painting Fransisco Toaquiza Ecudor

It is signed one way "Fransisco T. Ecudor" but the artist is actually "Fransisco Toaquiza," according to the back panel. It is 10" x 7 3/4".

I don't see any current listings of his work for sale. invaluable.com does have a listing for a sold work and there were a few other sites with information.

The second link is not bad and price is not always indicative of overall value.

This is what I found which makes me wonder if the second link is of a different artist.

I suspect the Toaquiza family is large and there are a lot of Franciscos. None of those works appears to be by the same hand.

Here. This is better. A more appealing headline. And since original doesn't have much punctuation, I added what I presume to be a missing period that improves the meaning. Also, Eloy Alfaro is referred to by that nickname (which I originally thought was just a description.)
