    It's ~1 3/4" high complete, ~1 3/8" to the rim; 2 1/2" wide cover, ~2 3/8" rim diameter. Weight total is ~2 1/2 oz.
The bottom is very slightly concave, perhaps ~0.020"; it's chamfered an' unglazed...an' of course unmarked.
The blue underglaze pattern is an appliqué, which washes out to a very faint gray under UV; both body an' cover are somewhat translucent. The body is unglazed on the rim, an' down the interior wall ~1/4"; its cover is similarly unglazed on the mating face as well as on the shallow ridge; all else is glazed. The flowers look to me like chrysanthemums, which suggests Japanese...but nothing else supports that view. My ignorance allows me to call the pattern chintz, but most other chintz I've seen is every bit as 'busy', but multi-colored...so I'm probably mistaken there.
What say you, who have a better understanding of such things? Thanks for lookin'!

Well, I'm stumped. One glance and I would've said Japanese, but it looks like it was thrown on a wheel and I doubt the Japanese would let a piece with the flaw in the interior bottom pass muster. Yes, it is a chrysanthemum design but I'm like you -- is it real or is it Memorex?

I think Asian. Possibly meant to hold ink for a chop.

    I’d say Japanese.
