small pink and white wicker flower basket 13a

I have a small pink and white wicker flower basket. The dimensions are Top: 6 ¼” x 4 ¾” Bottom: 4 ¾” x 3 3/8” and height 3 ¾” I was wondering origin of country, how old, type of wood used in making it and worth. Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob​

 

Well this one isn't "wicker." I think the material is palm frond. Whatever the handles are made of is, I don't know. I see things like this go begging and every yard and estate sale. Give it to Goodwill, maybe they'll get a buck for it.

You don't believe the Made in China stickers?

 

I have found all of the baskets to be not very old ... Joy.

 

the plastic base is still there with soil bits......
like someone has collected flower baskets over the last 30 years.......
