Featured Small painted? glass trinket jar

    I got this in a box at an auction a long time ago, wondering if anyone can tell me about it? The auctioneer told me at the time what it's called but I can't remember what he said. Thank you for your time!

    Looks like a powder jar from the goofus glass craze circa 1900.

    There don't seem to be a great number of people who are enthusiastic about Goofus Glass. When we were selling, it didn't. Sell.
