Small Oil Seascape

    Someone trimmed the canvas board and the first name is cut off. The last name looks like Gust? European origin?

    Maybe Rust? Also looks like it could be Qust but is that a name?

    I agree with Brad - looks like Rust to me.

    What possesses someone to cut down a painting like this??!! :eek:

    Have to admit, I've not heard of our frames being particularly different sizes. We do use different standard paper sizes.
