Another grabsy from today. It's a small lobed dish, hand painted and about 14cm across. I think it's hard paste and possibly from Limoges or possibly German/Austrian looking at the decor. No marks or other clues.

I think spraying was quite common place in the early 20th C. So was that colour scheme. I can definitely see the likeness. Can't seem to find anything in that shape though.

alot of them were unmarked as well, thats the good thing about researching things youve bought, you get accustomed. but like you say, alot did the same. but its a definite candidate

I could always do the RS Prussia style description and let the collectors make their own mind up. I quite often get collectors correcting my descriptions which I find useful.

tell you what is a complicated process is the ebay offers

ive had offers that ive ignored that have far succumbed the final auction prices

ive had offers that go way beyond, where the auction starting price hasnt even been matched and ended without a bid

Mm yeah. I try not to be greedy nowadays. I've been offered decent amounts in the past and turned my nose up, only to be never offered anyway near as much ever again.
