Small hand painted oval maybe soap dish with impressed SVV or SW?

    I can't tell if it is porcelain or some other heavier material, possibly earthenware. It is hand painted. Do you recognize the impressed mark SVV or SW? Size is 5.25" by 4.25" by 1.5". For all I know it may be new. Do you think it is earthenware? Thank you!
