Bottle & stopper are ~3" high, ~2" diameter; the grass bale adds ~2 5/8". The aluminum disc is ~3/4" diameter; all I can make out stamped thereon is otte (top), moor (under), glan (bottom). The grass wrap is pretty tight; it allows almost no light into the bottle. There is no remnant aroma to it, nor apparent residue.
I can accept England for the bottom; the other 2 words have too many possibilities for my conjecture to approach accuracy.
What was it made to contain, which may explain the bale? Does the manner or material of wrapping offer any clue about when it was made...or where?
Your thoughts, comments an' suggestions are, as in all things, precious to me!
    Thanks for lookin'!

Looks like a lot of similar ones meant to hold wine. Do a Google image search to see them.

The fiber looks like rush, which would be consistent with an English origin.

Try Potter & Moore, fragrance makers founded in 1749. Their smelling salts were typically packaged in green glass.
