It's probably not called applique but I have post-Covid brain fog so I'm not responsible for my words right now!

This was always on my mother's bureau. There are spots for four small rhinestones which have fallen off, but I have them. Two green and two blue. It's 3" diameter. No markings that I can find. There are small bubbles in the glass. Where might this have come from? IMG_3543.jpeg IMG_3544.jpeg IMG_3545.jpeg

Aww, that's sweet, Bev! You know that I know nada about glass. Are we thinking Czech/Bohemian?

The metalwork is very similar to many of my Czech perfume bottles.

Czech/Bohemian actually sounds right. Don't know why I didn't think of it, but it's been a long time since I was into buying and selling.

The metal work with stones in it reminds me of some Moroccan ceramics. Never seen it applied to glass before though.

I’ve seen it on Turkish glass.

Here is a group shot of some of my Czech bottles. The petit point bottle & the 2 tiny ones right in front are not Czech bottles.

The shape of the metal plaque and those “coral” cabochons do look Turkish to me.
