I bought these small fish platters a while ago and have never found any more like them nor any information about them. They are completely crazed everywhere and some of the blue has gone right through to the bottom of the platters. No makers marks on the bottoms. The measurements are 8 1/2" X 5".
Any info would be surely appreciated! Thanks.

These are lovely! I don't know who the maker is, but they are pink on the bottom? (That is what they look like on my monitor.) The picture of the tag is too small for me to see.

I think the blue on the bottom did not "go through" the platters but flew onto there in the kiln during the glaze firing. --Is this what you meant?

No - the bottoms are white. And the tag is from the seller, all it says is "Flo Blue - JR"

Thanks, thought they might be white, they are very nice.
Sorry I cannot be of more help with them.

They may be Oliver China, but there's no flow blue here. The rims are airbrushed, I think. The fish are crisp and clear, not a transfer that has flowed.

These are similar design fish plates I've found on the internet. They are described by the Online Auction House as "Flow Blue" and over 100 years old. These fish are also clean and have no traces of their details flowing. I don't know how much they sold for as I'm not paying to register just to see their selling price.

Yes, people do describe anything blue as flow blue, but look up the definition for yourself.

No I would not consider these to be flow blue.
