Small Enamel Dish or? What is it?

    Approx 4 3/4" in diameter. I am at a loss for what it is Is it old? It looks like it is silver plated but that is just a guess

    Any help is much appreciated This came from an older veteran that served in Japan during the war

    At that size it's very useful as a trinket or pin tray. I have one about this size that sits on my dresser for a few pairs if earrings and small hair clips.

    It is so flat I thought that it might have some other use There is really no raised lip TY!

    It certainly could have a different use in Japan, but what do you mean by "no raised lip?" Can you show a picture straight on from the side?

    I see what you mean! It could still serve a "pin tray" function, but other tableware function might work too.
