I'm unfamiliar with Desna, and have been unable to find only basic info about the company. I found a match to my vase on eBay. Can anyone confirm the seller's attribution?

Mine measures 3-3/8" tall. All the non-satin surfaces are ground flat & polished. The sticker on the bottom is from a now-closed jewelry store here in TX. I was able to find a story online which said it opened in 1920 and closed last year. I couldn't find any history of its stickers, so this piece could have been imported any time since then. There are no maker's marks on the piece itself.

Thanks! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I think your label looks vintage.

The paper label looks like it's 1950s or so.

There was a time when jewelers sold quality glassware especially in smaller communities without the department stores. Looks 30- 50s to me also

At least this thread has taught me something about "Ingrid" glass. I had a piece once, and knew nothing.

Several sources I've read now say that Desna glass has a sandblasted mark specifically to differentiate it from vintage pieces.

I think yours is quite probably from the CIO outfit in the link. The casting seems coarse to me, but that's just my opinion.

The Ingrid piece I had, had the name etched on the bottom.

    Thanks for your help, everyone!

I did see a link to that site, but skipped over it because of the German URL. Thanks for pointing to the PDF directly. It was a big help.

I looked closely inside the vase, in case any mark was obscured by the sticker. I don't see anything, unfortunately. I think I agree with others that this may be older than 2001 when CIO started selling. But I agree about the casting - one side of the mold seam is very visible.

Thanks for the tip about the Desna mark. When I was originally researching this, I thought that Desna was the original company. I re-read the PDF Mill Cove linked (I'm blanking on names today - sorry!). I see now that Desna was itself a repro company, even though it was formed in the 1920s.

I've seen a few pieces of the green agate-style glass around, but not enough to get a good read on it. In the catalog pages shown in the PDF, the Desna versions look more detailed / have a sharper design, and I mistakenly thought they were the originals.

Also, a Desna line of glass is still being produced, and here are current catalogs in PDF form. Their "vaseline" color is so vibrant.

    Thanks again!
