Small cloisonne vase - I need help w/ possible mark please.

I picked up this small cloisonne vase Friday at the auction. The colors or the dark burgundy against the rust is quite striking in person. It is 7 1/8" tall. There is a possible mark on the bottom, but to me it just looks like an X or a Y. I had saved a really cool website a while back to help with this type of thing but it is no longer active.

So what does everyone think, old vs. new? Does anyone recognize the mark? How about the flowers? Maybe I can use that in the title if all else fails.
