Small black unglazed vase...

    Hi there, I’ve had some excellent help with my previous queries so here is one that may stump you’ll.
    It is a black ceramic vase with what I guess are mid-century tulips. I think it is a studio piece. I’m pretty sure it was made on a wheel. There are very faint lines next to each flower, so I think a template was used make each flower uniform.

    There are numbers on the base but nothing that I can make any sense of.

    Has anyone any leads??

    that's a simple enuf design to carve out by hand before it was fired......

    studio sounds right....
