Featured Small Basket Marked AK900

    2BB428EF-28B2-46CA-BABB-26EA4947B14B.jpeg 10FE1A56-B5F8-417D-8E21-4D2ED42E0335.jpeg CD4EA066-7CBA-4C22-B671-618F6363647E.jpeg 6E0C2BF7-BD93-4BF0-B091-F54B42C4293A.jpeg I found few similar ones online, maker unknown but sellers assume 900 is silver fineness.
    The problem on mine is that “chip” on the bottom. I would think that shouldn’t happen on solid silver? Unless made with sheets of silver fused together?

    Believe it's most likely Turkish or Armenian, doubt it has any great age...

    Cheryl, is it the style that looks Armenian/Turkish ? And why just those two options?

    Just the style and quality of the repousse work, the fineness and mark - probably Turkish, maybe an Armenian smith in Turkey, but could've been working in Armenia. On phone at Mom's doctor right now, can likely find some comparables later on...
