Nifty looking lampshade. Measures about 10 inches tall and 13 inches wide at the bottom. Any idea when it was made? Thanks!

These crop up fairly regularly. I believe they are 40s-50s. Possibly as late as the early 60s. I don't have any documentation of this but don't remember seeing them in the stores after that time period and they don't document to the pre-war period. They are often sold as being antique but there is no basis for this and the prices realized are modest. This appears to substantiate them not being terribly old.

These were very popular around here as I remember then in several of my friends homes .....late 60's to 70's .....so made in the 50's to 60's...sounds about right.
