Featured Silver whale 970?

Hello again,
I picked up this whale paperweight at Round Top and was wondering if any of you know what any of the marks on the underside mean or could help me figure out anything about it. I read "R" "215 F1" "970" and "16÷20g." Thanks!

 

Italian "Reimpito" work. 20 grams of silver electroformed over a base in the shape of the whale.

The maker's registration is inside the shape to the left of the 970, A closer look at the number and letters there would help/

 

Now I realize that you included those letters and numbers in your OP.

FI is Firenze (Florence in English.) The 215 is the maker's number in the Florence list. Hopefully I can find it on another site. BRB
