I looked around for this mark, but I am having no luck even figuring out in what country to begin my search.

The first mark is an oval with what appears to me to be a left-facing horse rearing up followed by a letter, possibly a "K" within it. Middle mark is a capital cursive "A" in a circle, and the last mark is a "C".

When I google the horse mark, all I get are Lion Passant marks. I suppose it could be a lion, but it doesn't really look like it.

Oh, and I'm open to it being neither a horse or a lion. For the longest time, I kept seeing a crescent moon with drips falling from it until my eyes finally refocused and saw something different. :p

If forced to guess, I'd say Hanau. Unfortunately their marks are so loosie-goosie, you may never find an exact match.

I looked at what little there is on both 925-1000 and silvercollection and saw several with that rampant what ever it is and others with a crowned A with that curlicue style.

    Thanks Bakersgma!

I'm happy with at least having a location even if I can't pin down a maker.

Thank so much for your help.

That looks to me like a Berlin bear, the 'K' for assay-warden Kessner (1819-54), the 'A' for 2nd assayer Andreack (1819-42), the 'C' perhaps the maker - they're for salt rather than sugar...
