Silver sample " rsilver"

Hello. I have a Parker ink pen. There is a sample of silver "RSILVER". What does it mean?

 

Rolled silver plate

 

Rolled silver isn't strictly plated. It's like Sheffield plate: thin sheets of metal rolled and pressed together. Plating more properly refers to a chemical reaction.

 

3 sheets of metal,2 silver sheets with a base metal sheet between the 2 silver.

 

I've always called rolled silver, technically inaccurately, plate with an attitude.
