Silver repousse sugar bowls

    I picked these two up for a quid each yesterday. I wasn't sure what they were made of at the time and couldn't find any marks. After I left the the shop I found that the one on the left hand side has 'silver 835' stamped into the metal. Perhaps continental? Now I have polished the one on the right, I have discovered '235' impressed into it. There is also a number above this the opposite way round.

    likely a badly struck 835....and not repousse..

    the other ....is nicely formed..and looks to be pushed out from the inside..
