    Happy New Year everyone!
Hope you are all keeping well.
I have few items I would like to ask about.
First is this necklace I bought some time back,
I remember it was mentioned Sterling silver, but it’s not hallmarked.
Anyone can identify the style and age ?

Possibly student/hobbyist made, excess solder in spots and chasing dents.

NA influence for sure, but it's not screaming at me. The design is really elegant, but that stone in the piecerust setting just doesn't belong.

It looks Southwestern inspired. But without a mark or documented provenance that's all anyone can say.

    Hi,
I just had another look, it’s hallmarked 925 on the bail. I bough this with some other Navajo necklaces, I will try to post them as well, just have to find them.
Thank you so much Any for your advise.
    Kind regards,
    Simona

That is a silver fineness mark, which is generic.:(

All you can say is Southwestern inspired and IMO not NA. 925 is not used on NA jewelry. It’s either stamped sterling or unstamped if older. Your piece is attractive and IMO 80’s forward.

This may sound silly, but what IMO stands for?
    Thank you

Hard to date it for sure. Not antique, but could be vintage or even somewhat recent. I would guess an artisan piece. It is a very attractive necklace and I bet it looks great when worn. Elegant, as Evelyb said.

IMO is short for: "In My Opinion". :)

Yes, it’s very elegant and looks nice when worn, looks like angels wings.
I will look for the others and post some photos as well.
    Thank you
    Xx

Sorry ‘bout that. In My Opinion. Anytime you come across an acronym that’s unfamiliar just look up internet acronyms and most are listed.
