Featured Silver goblets with ?Chinese? characters?

Advertised locally as "silver color" and no history or other information. I find them intriguing... any thoughts as to age, quality, purpose, translation, etc? They'd be a 40 minute drive for me to get them but at $45 for the pair, is it worth it?
Or are they cheap tourist tat?

Ooooo ! That'd be a hard one ! Im cheap,so theres that,plus thats real effort to drive that far .That being said,that loving cup (?) especially intrigues me ! I cant decide if that yellowish tint is just the sun or plating worn off.

 

I'd take the bet! Not keen on the handles, but from the inside bottom view of the one on the left I see hand hammered work saying silver to me.

 

I think you need @Kaiserpoo to translate some of it.
Or you might buy items that could be awards for something mundane that people won't be interested in.

Well, I don’t know if my photos are any better than the seller photos… It’s impossible to get photos of silver without my own reflection!
Seller had no history of the item, she said she was selling for a friend whose deceased mother had collected “Asian stuff“. I’ve got some photos of cup number one, the taller one that I am most interested in. Approximately 22 cm tall, I see no brassy areas showing through. (Unlike the smaller cup, which does have faint brassy areas showing through.)
I’m happy with their decorative value, so whatever they end up being, or end up not being, is fine with me.
I probably won’t be able to post photos of the smaller cup until tomorrow as I’ll be leaving for work soon. Thanks for any help!

Does anyone see a date anywhere? Any idea of the age of this? Thoughts on the possibility - or not - of it being silver? Silverplate?
