Featured Silver? filigree Tie clip

hi folks

found this nice tie clip in a charity shop yesterday for a pound

thinking its gotta be sterling but has got no hallmarks at all (looked all over), so unsure

the safety chain makes me think it might be silver as well

not sure if it has any age, hoping maybe

any thoughts or info appreciated

 

There's no way to know if it's silver from photos, you will need to have it tested. I have had filigree pieces made of non-precious silver tone metal.

 

agreed marie, wasn't really asking for conformation on the content, just thats its a possible

 

Lovely. It has a central or northern European folk vibe, but I could be way off.

It's certainly possible. Oddly, the clip part looks like silver but the filigree looks like either costume or old rhodium plating.
