This set has no hallmark, makers name, number, nothing, zilch! Can anyone tell me anything about it please?

Are you getting the "file too large" error message?

So what is this? Spoon, fork, something else? Can we see a whole piece, front and back?

    No marks at all?
I think I've seen that pattern before.
Don't have my silver books at home.
Hopefully Bakers will track it down.

That's too generic to ID from design alone, I'm afraid. Do you have a whole set or just one piece?

Remind me where you are, NextMove?

Im in the UK. That picture is a teaspoon, I can only find one thing with this design. There are some marks on the back but so small I cant make them out. IMG_2313.JPG

I can see...something... I usually shoot bitty stuff like that through a jeweler's loupe and then crop off the stuff that isn't magnified. Works nicely.

If you're shooting from an camera, does it have a macro function? (usually identified with a tulip icon)

I suspect that this is silverplated, but we won't know for sure until we get a look at those marks.

It looks like it says 800 so maybe German? If it's an 800 then it's solid silver just below sterling. Maybe a variation on king's pattern?

You're in luck with it being solid 800 rather than plated, but any indication of the maker has been worn away. It's more of a "shell" pattern than "Kings."
