Silhouette's info and age?

    Hopefully someone might be able to tell me something about this.
    Miniature silhouettes are are 2" x 3 1/2" black lacquer frame with gold trim is 6" x 13" i thought the scenes were just adroable and for only $2 It didn't hurt lol.

    Very possibly the 1950s when silhouettes were popular (again.) Frames appear to be from that period.

    That's what I was thinking too. Pretty sweet, and for two bucks it's hard to miss!

    Thanks, what i thought was cool is that they are not laid flat on the backing. they are raised between the glass and backing.
