Signed Salt Glazed Stoneware Mug

Hi a,

Does anyone recognize this mug?

I can't make out the sig (tried cinnamon) and the chop mark is unfamiliar too.

There is a company in PA called "Westerwald Pottery". I think it may be one of theirs.

I emailed them with the thread and below is the reply I got. I'm assuming Nancy is the person who replied, not the name on the bottom of the piece. Thanks again!

I couldn't exactly sort out what they say about their marks. It almost sounds like they might be signed or impressed by one of many individual potters rather than the company but I don't know if that's right. (and since they are pretty unreadable it's hard to guess)
