Signed photograph identification

    IMG_0804.JPG IMG_0805.JPG IMG_0808.JPG IMG_0807.JPG I was wondering if anyone new who this person was that created this photo. I'm pretty sure it's before 1983 since it's not on acid free paper. Be nice if it was created by Ansel Adams, strongly doubt it though. :)
    Hopefully someone can read the signature.

    It appears that his legal name was Jefferson McCrea French, Jr.

    it reads Thundercloud rather than storm, hm? Lovely image.

    Jefferson McCrea French, Jr. (1917-2001) according to information (on-line) about the "Russell House" (interesting in its own right) in Springfield, Tennessee.

    Don't know if everyone is familiar with "the Smokies" but that is "local" parlance for "The Great Smoky Mountains." ;)
