Thought some of you would like to see this. From an estate sale this weekend. (San Diego is good for USN related items.)

Original litho/photo depicts the final Liberty Ship to be built (in Richmond, CA, 1944), the 519th such ship. Signed in pen by the shipbuilders!

(Please, please excuse my red markings. I will be putting this on the big auction site in the near future, and would like the buyer to get the only clean image.)

I believe I read that one of the earlier ones set a record of 10 days, start to finish. Don't know what their secret was.

Interesting that there are a lot of women that signed that. Makes it a little more interesting, with the Rosie the Riveter vibe.
