Signature help on watercolor

    Picked up this watercolor with some age. Signature as shown. Label on the back. Any help? Thanks much!

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    All's I did was try to eliminate extraneous 'noise' around the signature and brighten it up, to help YOU decide, as I'm not totally sure!!!! Hope it helps!! FWIW, I too think it probably says Wilfred Walter......

    Have been checking variations as well. Nothing so far but appreciate the input. Seems to be a well executed work so have hopes it could be someone of importance. Imagine that Bendann's was just the framer. Could find no other similar works with this label.

    Another idea.
    The last name doesn't start with "W". Look at the way the "W" is formed in Wilfred. Not the same. Maybe Wilfred I. ???tes

    Not so sure.
    Using the link that i need help provided, it says they first opened at 205 W. Baltimore Street in 1859. Now owned and operated by the great grandson.

    Your picture has a number on the back at the bottom.
    You might try contacting them.
