    Hi and welcome!

Where are you located? There are members all over the world and in different types of locations such at city, rural etc. Suggestions will probably be different depending partly on where you are.

Ditto what they said above ...... Doesn't look to be American to me so, if not in the US, will be hard for me to provide a value or recommendations on selling. All that said, it ought to be worth a few hundred minimum about anywhere at retail since it looks like a nice piece.

Hi, sorry. I'm in Ayrshire, Scotland. I would not be able to ship it would need picked up. There is an auction house that has been recommended but thought I'd pop it on here first. Thank you x

You might do better selling outright to a dealer and, certainly, better if you could find someone that wants it for themselves. Auctions can be risky but this seems to be a nice enough piece that it shouldn't fall completely flat.

Here in the States, it is the kind of thing we would recommend selling on Craigslist locally once a value is determined. I don't know if you have that there or something similar. Of course selling to an end-user or a dealer takes time and energy. Even determining value might take some time and energy visiting shops or antique fairs to view similar pieces. Selling at auction is quick and easy. Really just depends on how much effort you want to put into this.

Rachel, can you get some interior photos please? I suspect it's simply a bit of 20th C brown furniture, but I'd like to see more.
